Mark Mears- Lead Guitar/vocals
Mark started playing guitar when he was 13 years old from then on he started his first band in 1969 called "Why". Mark is now been playing guitar for over 40 years and also teaches music at Peak Mountain Music. Mark is also the sound Engineer for "Peak Mountain Project".
Previous bands Include: Why, The Gathering, The Tavern Tree, Still Kick'n, Ashley Street, Nucleus, And now Peak Mountain Project.
Instruments of Choice: 1969 Les Paul, Gibson SG Deluxe, Gibson ES 335, Fender Pedal Steel, And his Fender Strat.
Music Influences Include: Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Toy Caldwell, And Dwane Allman.
Jim Reed- Bass Guitar/Vocals
Jim has been playing and been involved with music all his life. He first started playing the bass and singing in high school and has not stopped since. Jim has preformed thousands of gigs all over New England and New York. Jim also sang with "City Lights" with Livingston Taylor at the Iron Horse in Northhampton. Preforming "Still The One" with Larry Hoppen(Orleans) and Robbie Dupree of "Steal Away Fame" at the Maple Tree.
Previous Bands include: Still Above Ground, Route 66, Debbie Weyl and Outbound, Sequoia, Tattoo, and Wayward Traveler.
Music Influences:Francis Rocco Prestia (Tower of Power), Lance Hoppen (Orleans), Kim Stone (The Rippingtons), Verdine White (Earth Wind and Fire), Timothy B. Scmidt (Eagles), and of course Paul McCartney.
Instruments of choice: 1980 Musicman Sabre Bass (bass of choice), a 1978 Fender Precision Bass w/bassline pick-ups, and an early 1970's Rickenbacker 4001 Bass
